Dear god - I had forgotten about this!

Well as the title so aptly indicates, I had completely forgotten about this blog. It was only when I was searching for some old photo's that I remembered I had posted them here. Amazingly I actually worked out the ID and password.

So what is new, well nothing much really. We are stilly pretty much the same as we were three years ago when I last posted. I'm still engaged to Phil (we will get married at some point!) though I guess we do now have our own house (and a mortgage - the joy). We have three dogs, Inca, Finn and an Australian Shepherd called Amano who was 2 in September. Apart from that nothing much has changed. I did take a temporary leave of my senses when I changed profession, I now babysit teenagers all day long (otherwise known as teaching). I have also developed a keen interest in Photography which is taking up quite a bit of my spare time.

Well anyway - that was a quick update, hopefully it won't be another three years before I post again. Who knows, we may even be married by then!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

Right, I guess I should get this blog back on track. I guess the main thing that has happened is that our pup (who is now 7 1/2 months old) was found to be iron deficient and after a course of supplements and further tests he is now okay :-) He is still underweight and undersized for a dog of his age but hopefully he will make up the difference as he gets older.

This photo was taken just before christmas.

I ran our first recreational with Inca at Ringwood the weekend before christmas - we had a good run out - though it was only over 1.2 miles and I was shattered by the time we got back! One of my new years resolutions is to get fitter! I went for a 6 mile walk in the new forest last week with the both of them - we had a great time. I have a rig on order, I placed the order back in October so hopefully it shouldn't be much longer! I'm looking forward to competing properly and hope to do the Ashley Heath night rally in February :-)

Christmas was good, if not a little hectic - trying to split the day between two families never really works.

I hope you all have a good 2005!

Me, Myself and I

Well this week has been interesting - and not in a good way! We collected our new Alaskan Malamute pup on Friday, took him to the vets on Monday and they kept him in until Thursday running numerous tests on him as he was anaemic (and underweight) :-( Had to take him back in today for another biopsy (as the first one yeilded no results) - poor little mite! At the moment he looks like a poodle!

He was 9 weeks old on Saturday. We have another Alaskan Malamute, a bitch named Inca. Below is a photo of Inca and Finn together.

Interesting

Well this should be interesting - I've never attempted any thing like this before, and my attempts to keep a diary failed dismally but I shall endeavour to update fairly regularly (not that anything interesting ever happens to me :-) )

I guess I should start with a bit about myself - I'm 23 years old and live in Surrey, England (though i'm originally from London) I'm temping at the moment, biding my time until something better comes along.

I live with my partner and our two dogs - both Alaskan Malamutes, a 10 month old bitch and an 8 week old dog - he's 8 weeks old today - we only collected him yesterday :-) So I'm in for some sleepless nights! Next season i'm hoping to work both of them - though I may run the bich in a few recreational runs this season!

Well thats a bit about myself - I'll post again soon!
